Attend Round 1 of MICA's UP/Start Venture Competition 2018. Round 1 participants will pitch and display their business ideas for a panel of entrepreneurs and judges. The top 8 ideas will advance to the next round of competition and compete for $100,000 in funding in the finale event on April 4, 2018!
Attendees can cast a vote for their favorite venture ('People's Choice Award') to advance to the next round of the competition. Eight finalists will be announced that evening and advance to compete for funding.
The 'Pop Up and Pitch' exhibit will be open on Friday, February 2, from 3-6:30 pm in the Brown Center (1301 W Mt. Royal Ave., Baltimore, MD 21217). You may stop by anytime to meet the entrepreneurs and cast your vote.

Parking:
Parking can be found on Mt. Royal Avenue and adjacent to MICA’s campus in the Bolton Hill Neighborhood. Parking on residential streets is limited to 2 hours. You may also park in the 81 Mosher Lot (old RK&K building) under the Jones Fall Expressway, or there is also garage parking at the Fitzgerald Garage.
